PEI Entrepreneur Loan Program
The Entrepreneur Loan Program is an initiative of the Province of Prince Edward Island designed to stimulate small business activity throughout the province. The program provides entrepreneurs with up to $50,000 for use as an investment in eligible new and expanding businesses. Loans are sourced through the Credit Union.

The commercial term loans can finance up to 90 percent of the cost of
- The purchase or improvement of real property and immovables;
- The purchase of leasehold improvements, or improvements to leased property;
- The purchase or improvement of new or used equipment.
Capital leases can finance the cost of various types of new and used equipment, including:
- Vehicles;
- Hotel and restaurant equipment;
- Medical and health services equipment;
- Computer hardware and software;
- Telecommunications equipment;
- Manufacturing equipment.
