Travel Insurance
Before your next trip, you should ensure you are properly covered in the event of an emergency when you travel. Credit Union travel insurance can provide the coverage you need.
Emergency Hospital and Medical Insurance (Canadian residents only) provides coverage for emergency hospital and medical expenses incurred outside of province of residence and which are in excess of amounts payable by provincial health insurance and/or any other group or private health insurance plan.
Some features of this product include:
- Limit is $1,000,000.
- Emergency advance of funds to hospital or physician
- Emergency dental expenses up to $200.
- Accidental dental expenses up to $2,000.
- Living allowance up to $150. a day to a maximum of $1,200. for commercial accommodation and meals of any insured person delayed by injury or illness beyond the scheduled return.
- Air ambulance with prior approval
- Emergency road transportation
- Prescription drugs and x-ray expenses
- Up to $3,000. for cremation expenses at place of death
- Up to $3,000. for the preparation and shipment of deceased insured's body to place of residence
Some features of this product include:
- Maximum limit of $15,000.
- Accidental dental expenses up to $2,000.
- X-ray expenses
